Shake It Out - Manchester Orchestra
‘cause i’m done being done with the funerals at least for now
are you tired of being alone, are you tired of...
I Want It All 100% FC (GH:VH) My first Guitar Hero FC in about 8 months. Number 336/670.
The Takedown - Yellowcard (Guitar Hero: Van Halen / Expert Guitar)
Why won’t this song die! I have been trying to FC it for the last 1.5 hours with no luck (FC = 100% w/ max note streak). I had one run where I choked BIG time on the 899th note (at 2:50, one of the first few easy single notes after the solo). I can hit every section consistently but I can’t seem to string together an FC.
The tough parts are—
the strumming patter at 0:40
the chorus at 1:00 (repeats 3x, twice before solo and once after)
the gallops at 1:25
and the solo at 2:34-2:47
That being said, I really like the song itself. I would like it a lot more if it didn’t insist on taunting me.
(not my gameplay video).
I’m the One first FC - GHVH G(X)
I am very sorry that this took me so long to find out about and get up. This happened on the 19th.
This is the first full combo of this song on expert guitar. A full combo, or FC, is when you hit every note in a song and your note streak is equal to the total number of notes in the song. If you strum when there is not a note, you will break your streak. In this case you can still get 100% but you can not get a full combo.
This songs lasted over three months before it finally got FCed. That is much longer than any song since Satch Boogie on Guitar Hero World Tour, which took about two months. The last song to take over three months was One from Guitar Hero 3, which took roughly one year.
If you don’t want to check out the whole video simply skip to the following sections for the most impressive gameplay.
2:44 through 2:52 for the impossibly difficult fast strumming/fretting section that very few people have ever hit
3:39 through 3:54 for the very tough VERY choke-able outro
4:06 through 4:09 for cheesy celebration
This song is easily classified in the list of songs that I could never hit even if I had months to practice and my life depended on it.
