This game is just fantastic. Fortunately Katie shares my love for it. The only tension occasionally comes when one of us tries to watch the other play. Katie wouldn’t dream of commanding her character (also a young brunette female named Katie) to do anything immoral; to do anything she herself would not do. I on the other hand will do just about anything it takes to make my character more powerful. Its kinda funny to watch her squirm as she watches my guy lie, steal, cheat or even murder just to obtain some unique ring or dagger. I feel the same way watching her character spend hours running in game errands just so that some non-player controlled character will give her a key or book that could have just as easily been obtained through more nefarious means, like a quick arrow in the back. Creates a fun dynamic though. Wouldn’t trade it for anything. (pic via chris f)
