yep, this happened. a car alarm was going off outside our apartment from roughly 3am to 9am. the police were called at 4 am. i lost my will to live at 5 am. gahhhh!

I even called 311 last night out of desperation. They connected me to dispatch and I thought that I’d be free to sleep. Chicago has noise ordinance laws in effect; those don’t apply to car alarms but they apply to concerts and bars…
